Carla Rossi

Graduating in Mathematics with Bruno de Finetti in 1971, since 1981 she has been Ordinary Professor of Mathematical Statistics and then Medical Statistics at “Tor Vergata” University in Rome. Her research concerns various sectors: mathematical models and statistical methodologies, applications in the biomedical and social field, and new indicators for assessing policy and applications. Thanks to collaboration with institutions and international organisations, her scientific activities have resulted in over 150 articles in international scientific magazines, and 40 scientific, educational and popular books. From 2000 to 2015 she was a representative of the European Parliament on the Management Board of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction. She is currently President of the Statistical and Social Studies Centre and a representative of the Radical Party at UNODC in Vienna. She is the author of Biostatistica 1, Universitalia (2014) and Marketing collaborativo e online value co-creation, Franco Angeli (2014).
