Francesco C. Billari

He is a Prorector at Bocconi University, Professor of Demography at the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management and President of the Dondena Centre. He is a Professorial Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford, Honorary President of the European Association for Population Studies and a Fellow of the British Academy, and was among the founders of Population Europe. He manages a research project on the role of major social discontinuity (economic and technological) in family and demographic change, funded by the European Research Council. He is the editor of Population Studies and Deputy Editor of “Demography”. He edited Teniamo famiglia, Università Bocconi (2012), and published La rivoluzione nella culla (with G. Dalla Zuanna), Università Bocconi (2008).
