Guglielmo Weber

Holding a PhD from the London School of Economics, he is Professor of Econometrics and Director of the Department of Economic and Business Science at the University of Padua. He is also the Italian coordinator and European deputy coordinator of the SHARE investigation (“Over-50s in Europe”). His research interests concern consumer choices and family saving, the economics of education, and the economics of ageing, in particular the effects of retirement on cognitive ability, physical and mental health. He has published Cose da non credere. Il senso comune alla prova dei numeri (with G. Dalla Zuanna), Laterza (2011).
