Kiersten Strombotne

She is a Health Economist at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) in Washington, D.C. In recent years, her research has investigated the social, behavioral, and policy drivers of child obesity in school settings; this work reflects her broader interest in understanding how social influences can be used to design more effective policies to alleviate health disparities across the life course. She holds a PhD in Health Policy and Management from Yale University.
