Lucrezia Reichlin

She is Professor of Economics at the London Business School, and non-executive director of Unicredit Banking Group, the AGEAS insurance group and Eurobank Ergasias SA. Lucrezia Reichlin is Chair of the Scientific Council of the Brussels-based think-tank Bruegel, and Chairman and co-founder of Now-Casting Economics Ltd. From 2005 to 2008 she was Director General of Research at the European Central Bank. She has also been a consultant for several central banks around the world, including the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. She is a columnist for the “Corriere della Sera” newspaper. She was director of research at CEPR in the period 2011-2013 and has been Chair of the CEPR Euro Area Business Cycle Dating Committee, as well as co-founder and scientist in charge of the Euro Area Business Cycle Network, of which she is now administrator. She is the author of numerous papers in books published by CEPR Press, including “Reinforcing the Eurozone and Protecting an Open Society Monitoring the Eurozone 2” (2016), “A New CEPR Report. A New Start from Eurozone: Dealing with Debt” (2015); “Deleveraging? What Deleveraging?” (2014).
