Luigi Zingales

He is Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and Director of the Stigler Center. He holds a PhD in Economics from MIT. Among the most cited economists in the world, in 2012 he was included in the list of the 100 most influential thinkers in the world by the magazine “Foreign Policy”. In 2003 he was awarded the Bernacer Prize for the best young European financial economist. In 2014 he was President of the American Finance Association. In addition to his academic activities, he is also a leader writer for “Il Sole 24 Ore”. His most recent books include Europa o no, Rizzoli (2014); Manifesto capitalista, Rizzoli (2012); Il buono dell’economia. Etica e mercato oltre i luoghi comuni (with G. Salvini and S. Carrubba), Università Bocconi (2010).
