Pirous Fateh-Moghadam

Born in Munich in 1967, he graduated in Medicine and specialised in Hygiene, Public Health and Epidemiology at the University of Bologna. He obtained a Master’s degree in Applied Epidemiology at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità/“Tor Vergata” University in Rome. He currently heads the Health Monitoring Unit of the Province of Trento’s Department of Health and Social Solidarity, dealing mostly with the monitoring of health and the factors that determine it. He coordinated the work to draw up the Health Plan for Trentino. He is a member of the national technical group on supervisory systems for health-related behaviour (PASSI and PASSI d’Argento) at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità. He represents Trentino in the context of the World Health Organisation’s network of regions. He has contributed to the drafting of various publications on the PASSI supervisory system, such as Alcol e buone prassi sociologiche, Franco Angeli (2013), and various reports of the Osservatorio italiano sulla salute globale.
